First ladybird seen out and about...

Running around a Magnolia bud, eventually I realised it was trying to find itself a snug as unbeknown to me it was about to begin hailing very heavily!

I think it was ok, I have later photos where it buried itself under the skin of the magnolia, I could only just see the bum by the end, was still there the next morning actually…I'll have to check today and hope it's moved.

Unfortunately the snow has ruined the magnolia flowers, they've caused areas to go black where they were frozen by the snow :crying:

huch, das sieht richtig unecht aus. endlich mal ein marienkäferfoto, das mir gefällt! die farben sind sehr kräftig, aber nicht zu aufdringlich und du hast ihn wunderschön scharf hingekriegt, war sicher gar nicht so einfach. :) daumen hoch!

Did you notice how many spots it had? They need to be logged HERE.

There's not the faintest whiff of a ladybird in my garden so far.
